The MAS Journal is an on-line, interdisciplinary, open source, peer-review journal published by the Minnesota Academy of Science as a part of its mission to promote science at all levels.

The Journal accepts original research in all areas of science, as well as review articles, cross-disciplinary reviews, and articles describing the teaching or mentoring of science at all levels in both academic and non-academic settings.

The MAS Journal also seeks to encourage the publication of student work, particularly that work which has received awards at Minnesota Academy of Science competitions such as the Winchell Undergraduate Research Competition, the Junior Science and Humanities Symposia, and the Minnesota State Science Fair.
